Aesthetic treatments to shine at Christmas

At this time of the year, our agendas are full of commitments. Sometimes more than we would like… but the truth is that we all want to be beautiful to celebrate the holidays with both “the commitments” and with our own. I am going to talk about aesthetic treatments that can be considered as a flash effect because their results are very natural and can be seen in a few days.

Botulinum toxin or botox

The aim is to relax the facial muscles that produce unsightly expression wrinkles. Not all expression wrinkles are unsightly, some are necessary to maintain the mobility of the eyebrows and give a sense of naturalness, avoiding a “frozen face” result. The wrinkles that benefit most from Botox treatment are between the eyebrows and crow’s feet or periocular wrinkles.

The procedure is very simple and in a few days you will obtain a natural result with a fresh and relaxed look.

Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) or biostimulation

This is a natural treatment in which the patient’s own blood is used to extract platelet-rich plasma (PRP). This PRP has the highest concentration of platelet growth factor, which stimulates the creation of new collagen in the skin and has excellent tissue repair properties. For these reasons, PRP is a great treatment for facial rejuvenation or to improve the skin of the neck, décolleté and back of the hands. The treatment is very simple and is performed in a short period of time. A correct blood centrifugation technique is essential to obtain an optimal result in biostimulation. The effect of PRP treatment is a smoother and more luminous skin.

Chemical peeling

It is a renewal of the most superficial layers of the skin with the aim of improving fine wrinkles, tightening pores, lightening blemishes and brightening the skin. It is a highly recommended treatment in the winter months since it is recommended that the treated skin not be exposed to the sun for the weeks following the peel. In just a few days, the skin can be rejuvenated with virtually no risk.

Hyaluronic acid

Hyaluronic acid is a fundamental molecule in the structure and function of multiple tissues of the human body, mainly the skin, eye and joints. Its main functions include providing structure, moisturizing and defending tissues against oxidative damage from free radicals and preventing infections. Over the years, hyaluronic acid is reduced in the skin and is one of the main causes of skin aging. For this reason it has become one of the most widely used aesthetic treatments worldwide for the rejuvenation of both the face and other body regions.

Depending on the density and concentration of the hyaluronic acid we use, we can produce an effect of recovery of facial volumes (filler) or a mere stimulation of the skin’s natural collagen (also called mesotherapy or vitamins). The quality of the hyaluronic acid used is very important as the duration and effectiveness of the hyaluronic acid can be very variable.

And so I leave you with a great tip to apply before any dinner during this month: apply an ampoule with vitamin C one hour before applying makeup on clean, dry skin. Then apply a good layer of moisturizer and finally the makeup, you will see how beautiful!

Happy Holidays to all!
