It is important to establish a daily routine for good skin care. If you want to have healthy-looking skin, TUDERMA’s team of dermatologists recommends that you follow the first 2 steps of this routine, hygiene and moisturizing, on a daily basis and consistently.
Daily hygiene
– When? Since childhood, as well as the rest of the body.
– Why is it important? Because it removes the dirt retained on the skin together with the sweat and oil produced by the skin glands.
– How should I clean my skin? With a soap-free hygiene product to remove only excess oil and sweat but without altering the skin’s hydrolipidic barrier, necessary to fight inflammation and infections. Best applied with fingertips and removed with lukewarm water. Avoid cotton pads, brushes and hot water.
Hydration
– When? Depending on the individual, generally between 15 and 20 years of age, it becomes necessary. In people with atopic skin since childhood.
– Why is it important? For hormonal and environmental reasons, there comes a time when the skin’s capacity to produce oil and moisture is insufficient to protect it from daily external aggressions such as dirt, dust, pollution or cold.
– How should I moisturize my skin? Depending on the skin type, a cream with more or less fat will be necessary. When in doubt, it is better to overdo it, as the skin is better protected.
